MOGADISHU — Somalia’s Future Council has formally endorsed the dialogue platform put forward by the Federal Government in Mogadishu. The council emphasized that the discussions will focus on critical national issues, particularly the ongoing disputes surrounding the electoral process.

In an official statement, the Future Council also called for a halt to constitutional amendments, advocating that the dialogue be conducted in a manner that fosters sustainable solutions based on consensus and mutual understanding.

This initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen political stability, national cohesion, and Somalia’s democratic processes. By supporting a structured and inclusive dialogue, both the government and stakeholders aim to address divisions, enhance cooperation, and pave the way for peaceful and credible elections.
