Djibouti – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, held discussions centered on coordinated diplomatic efforts to defend Somalia’s unity, sovereignty, and national independence.
The talks addressed regional and international developments affecting Somalia, with both leaders emphasizing the importance of collective diplomatic engagement to counter unilateral actions that undermine Somalia’s territorial integrity and violate international law.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to regional cooperation and multilateral diplomacy, stressing that safeguarding Somalia’s unity and stability remains essential for peace and security in the Horn of Africa.
