The Gender Equality and Women’s Political Participation program by Somali Policy Talk (SPT) aims to empower women to engage fully in political processes, decision-making, and leadership roles. By addressing social, cultural, and institutional barriers, the program promotes inclusive governance and equal representation, ensuring that women’s voices influence policies and development outcomes in Somalia.
Program Objectives
Promote Gender Equality: Advocate for equitable access to political opportunities and leadership positions for women.
